Program Structure

Loyola's Computer Science Certificates can be pursued full time or part time. Courses are delivered online over 8-week sessions in both live and asynchronous formats. To earn your certificate you will complete three, 3-credit courses in your specialization. Learn more about each specialization below.

Networking & Information Security Certificate

Enter the world of cybersecurity and learn the basics of computer networking and information security. This networking certificate includes courses in intrusion detection, computer networking, and emerging topics in computer science, such as computer forensics investigation.

Transcripts sent by the student to Loyola are considered unofficial documents, and while they may be utilized for initial review of your application, official transcripts are still required. International Applicant Requirements

An official English language proficiency exam is required for international applicants whose native language is not English. If you have non-U.S. educational credentials, you are required to submit an official transcript evaluation. The transcript evaluation cannot be waived.
