Enrollment Systems Research & Reporting (ESRR) Department conducts market analyses based on existing materials from client(s) and guiding question(s) to assess the proposed program in terms of objective and mission, etc. Based on initial information and discoveries provided by the client(s), ESRR creates proposals which include the scope of the analysis in terms of content area, a list of competitors, the timeline for launching the program, and any specific hypotheses the client(s) would like to explore.

ESRR provides information about competitor programs’ enrollment and degree conferred data sourced from multiple resources (IPEDS, IBHE, Institutional Research and/or program websites), along with program related job employment projections and wage data from Bureau of Labor Statistics and Illinois Department of Employment Security.

As an initial step, please provide information of the new program by answering the following questions.

Once the form is completed, ESRR will contact you to schedule an introductory meeting to discuss the project. ESRR will use the information from this questionnaire and from the meeting to create an initial brief analysis that shows market demand based on IPEDS completions and occupational data. This brief analysis will also summarize key attributes of competitor programs including cost, modality, etc.
