Courses for this fully online coaching certificate are taught by dedicated faculty who have direct experience in school settings. Program Structure
Open to teachers and teacher leaders, the Instructional Coaching Certificate can be pursued on a part-time basis. The coaching certificate program consists of four 3-credit courses, which are all offered online.
To enroll in the coaching certificate online at Loyola Chicago University, you must have a teaching license, credential, or certificate or comparable credential as well as two years of teaching experience.

Three of the courses for the coaching certificate online can be applied to the core requirement for the MEd in Principal Preparation at Loyola University Chicago.
Through this 12-hour coaching certificate program at Loyola University Chicago you can earn the credential you need to become an instructional coach within one year.
All four of the 3-credit courses for the coaching certificate are offered fully online. With asynchronous learning, you can take courses on a schedule that works best for you.
With rolling admission, you can start the coaching certificate program in the fall or spring semester. Two classes are offered in fall and two in spring, so you could take just one class per semester until you complete all four classes. Or you could take two classes per semester and finish in one calendar year.
