Exercise Science MS Graduate Program
As our society becomes increasingly health conscious, this program offers you the opportunity to help others make positive lifestyle choices by educating them on exercise and nutrition in a variety of settings. This program combines classroom instruction, lab-based activities, specialty coursework, and internship, and a comprehensive final examination to prepare you for careers in exercise science, including rehabilitation, sports medicine, athletic performance, and fitness.

The Exercise Science MS Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's program provides a significant cost savings to students interested in accelerating their path to an advanced degree. Finishing both programs in five years, including both undergraduate and graduate courses during your senior year, equates to a lower overall cost than if both programs were completely separately.
Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's students can also take advantage of the Returning Rambler Scholarship for eligible programs, offering a 25 percent tuition discount for graduate studies.

Apply in undergraduate year three. Students applying to an Accelerated Bachelors/Masters program will experience a slightly different application process. Please review the Exercise Science MS program page for process information and required supporting materials. Loyola students do not need to submit official transcripts. Start your application here.
Begin graduate course work. In undergraduate year four, you will take both undergraduate and graduate courses and complete your bachelor's degree.
Complete your graduate course work in year five. Graduate with your master's degree.
Please note that transfer students may have a slightly different timeline. Transfer students who are juniors may apply at the end of their second semester.
